  9. appear on the desktop and can be opened as any local disk. The AppleTalk
  10. network system provides communication between network devices from different
  11. vendors, including a variety of UNIX computers. Both Apple and non-Apple
  12. devices, such as computers, file servers, and printers, can participate in an
  13. AppleTalk network. Several key networking standards are supported by AppleTalk
